Anna-Kay Gayle


Jamaican born, London based Dance Artist, Model, Actor and Teacher. Anna-Kay began dancing from a very young age in style such as Dancehall, Street-Dance and Hip-Hop. At 18 years old started her formal dance training at Lewisham College where she completed three years studying Ballet, Contemporary (Graham, Cunningham, Release, Improvisation, Contact), Jazz (Musical theatre, Matt Mattox and lyrical), and Choreography. She then continued at London Contemporary Dance School where she completed her BA (Hons) in Contemporary.

 Since graduation, Anna-kay has performed, modelled and taught workshops in France, Italy, Brazil and St. Lucia in a range of styles including contemporary, dancehall, waacking, vogue and African dances.

She's featured in a number of advertising campaigns (print/tv/digital, online) internationally and worldwide, music videos, live shows, theatre, fashion, dance and short films. Her credits includes Macbeth at Royal Opera House, Tree created by Idris Elba & Kwame Kwei-Armah (Director) choreographed by Gregory Maqoma performed at The Young Vic and MIF (Manchester International Festival), Wayne McGregor, James Cousins, Brits Awards, Little Simz, Little Mix, Kloé Dean, Jess Glynne, H.E.R, Rita Ora , Coldplay, Goldlink ft. Maleek Berry, Bibi Bourelly, Jungle, Mika, Beyoncé, TU Clothing Sainsbury’s, Guinness Gold, Tia Maria, Dacia, Virgin Media, Gucci, Clarks, Burlington Socks, Nike, Reebok, Sweaty Betty, Agent Provocateur, Bvlgari, Just Us Dance Theatre (Jospeh Toonga), The Place Theatre and Dani-Harris Walters among many others.

She as a deep love and passion for health, fitness and wellbeing. Her own personal training not only includes dancing but meditation, Yoga, weight training and HIIT. She was a Barre fitness instructor for 2 ½ years and in May 2018 she completed her level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy and as been practicing since.

She recently created her own Dance Fit class called Waistline Fit. Similar to a LBT (Legs, Bums & Tums) Class with more whining and shaking what you got.
