Hannah Shepherd-Hulford


Hannah started her physical training with gymnastics and trampolining. She trained at London Contemporary Dance School gaining an undergraduate and postgraduate degree.

Hannah then went on to perform with Hofesh Shechter Company in 2008, becoming a full time member in 2009. She performed in HSC’s: In your rooms, The Art of not looking back, Political Mother, Political Mother Choreographers Cut, SUN, Orphee et Eurodice (Royal Opera House Production), Barbarians, Grand Finale and Double Murder.

In collaboration with the Hofesh Shechter company Hannah also performed in Bruno Guillore’s pandemonium and Philip Hulford’s - Luke warm and loving it.

She has recently been working as a creature/movement specialist for film and TV and joined Lost Dog in 2022 for their alternative festive show (co-produced by the Royal Ballet) Ruination. In addition to performing as Medea, she also teaches on Lost Dog’s Residencies.

Hannah is a mother of two young boys who keep her on her toes.
