Daisy Drury
Daisy is a producer and arts consultant with a background in movement-based performance and circus. Prior to joining Lost Dog in January 2019, she was Head of Producing for Fuel and, for 12 years, Director of Circus Development at the National Centre for Circus Arts. At NCCA she created and lead on a series of artist and artform development programmes. Other projects included the training programme for the 42 deaf and disabled artists who performed in the Opening Ceremony of the London Paralympic Games and Depart, a site-specific circus and dance show created especially for derelict Victorian cemeteries. Her first role in the arts was as Development Manager at the Young Vic where she worked on the capital fundraising campaign for the new building.
Other careers have included a researcher on the South Bank Show, a presenter in the ‘Talk Zone’ at the Millennium Dome and a short, disastrous stint as a social media entrepreneur in the days before social media existed.
